Hustle Like A Mother: Finding Balance

Let’s talk BALANCE!

Brigette has always been very healthy and active. A Physician's Assistant by trade, she understands the importance of total body health. Exercise is part of her daily routine. And when it’s not, she’s on the go with school events, baseball practices, birthday parties, baseball games, team momming, several successful side hustles... you name it, Brigette’s probably doing it- and doing it well! She’s committed. She’s hard working. And Brigette HUSTLES!


Brigette has always been very fit - she grew up an athlete (we’re talking High School Record Breaking Track Star here y’all! 🥇). But in time, everyday stress and life can creep up on you. In the midst of all of her Hustle workouts, and the rest days, and the daily grind and the Starbucks runs... sometimes we can find ourselves feeling- a bit unbalanced. Even in all of our overall healthy decisions, some times giving so much of ourselves to others, we eventually lose track of the balance in our own lives.

To regain balance, Brigette began to focus on her diet. She started to be increasingly mindful of the foods she routinely ate and which foods she passed on. She found habits that worked best for her, for her body & for her very active lifestyle. In true Brigette form, she committed to completely changing her eating habits to improve her overall health. She gave herself grace on vacations and social events. She stuck to this. She toned up. She began to feel balanced!

We celebrate Brigette’s progress for sure. But we also celebrate her dedication to find a healthy lifestyle that works for her as well as Brigette's willingness to give herself grace when she does indulge. It’s balance.

Congratulations Brigette! We are all so proud of your determination and inspired by your example!

Maintaining a healthy & realistic attitude toward food, exercise and expectations is very important to success.
At Hustle, the message has been and always will be LOVE YOURSELF. For who you are, the body you are in- no matter your weight or your measurements- love yourself.
And standing strong under that umbrella of self love- honor your body with exercise, rest, healthy food and an occasional treat.
A balanced life is an abundant life.
